Frequently Asked Questions
How does coaching work?
Coaching supports the client towards achieving his/her desired and specific outcome through creating new possibilities, awareness and facilitating change. Coaching calls forth the best in the client. Coaching focuses the client on how to think better, feel better, attain higher levels of health, well-being, focus, alertness and relaxation, skill, etc.
Is coaching like therapy?
Counselors focus on problems, hurts, wounds, traumas and on fixing that which is broken and on healing the client’s mind and emotions. It works to enable the person to become “okay”. Coaching is mostly for people who have their act together and who want more –more skill, more learning, more self-confidence, more joy, more love, more health etc. It is not about becoming just “okay”, but about becoming excellent, at one’s best.
What can I expect from my Coach?
Using the metaphor of a sports coach, the coach is there to support, motivate, cheer-lead, facilitate the clients’ best, and identify patterns and processes for feedback and improvement. In the Game of Life, the coach is not there to play the client’s game.
What is NLP?
Neuro Linguistic Programming is the study of how we know what we know. It teaches you to run an optimum mind-body-emotion system. It is a powerful communication and modeling tool. It works with the unconscious mind and brings forth change quickly. Coaching using NLP techniques focuses on the process and structure rather than the details and specifics of the client’s experience, therefore privacy of past events can be maintained.

Do you ever ask yourself those questions?
Sharmini Hensen did! Like most people, she too, came to that point in her life where she asked herself:
- Why isn’t my relationship with my partner passionate, loving, giving and full of joy?
- How do I nurture my children with love and acknowledgement, instead of anger and criticisms?
- Why am I not earning what I think I'm worth?
- Why do I find my work boring and routine?
- Why am I always stuck in the middle of office politics?
- How can I reach my sales targets?
- What if I was a leader ... I could follow my heart and live my dream now!
- Why don't I reach out for support?
