	Café One - a community café
	Café One is the first community café of its kind founded in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. We are community based; we employ and empower underserved individuals from the surrounding neighborhood, who are inexperienced, unemployed and poor to run a café successfully. We have a life coach, Ms Sharmini Hensen to train and coach them to change their mindset and habit, to succeed at what they do. One team is made of struggling single mothers, school dropouts, students who have to work part time to supplement their families income. Some of our team members are on welfare and illiterate. The opportunity we give them at Café One is to lift them out of poverty by empowering them with skills and a successful mindset. We operate from values of love, respect, honesty and gratitude. One Team is proudly Malaysian. Our team members are Malay, Chinese and Indian leveraging on each others strengths and working together harmoniously.
	Our food
	We serve local Malaysian favorites in a kopitiam setting. We serve Nasi Lemak Rendang Ayam, Chicken Rice, Chicken Curry Platter, Kuey Teow Soup, Curry Mee, Nasi Goreng Kampung Petai, Tom Yam Noodle Soup for daytime dining. We have the full range of kopi tiam beverage; local coffee, tea, barley, cincau etc.and kaya toast with half boiled eggs. Our dinner has halal Chinese dishes i.e. Sweet & Sour Chicken, Dry Chili Chicken and some Western classics i.e. Chicken Chop, Lamb Chops that we, Malaysians enjoy so much. We serve no beef. Our food is fresh, nutritious, MSG free and halal. Our prices are value for money; our daily special includes meal, drink and mix fruit for RM9.90 only. Our cooks are coached to cook with love and good feelings. If you want to taste the flavor of love, come to Café One.
	Our service
	We appreciate good service from the heart and so we serve from the heart. Our service team is attentive, reactive and proactive. They have pride in what they do and do their best from the heart, true Malaysian hospitality from the kitchen to the table. We table serve your meals. We can also do buffet style and cara hidang. Our ambience We have wooden kopitiam square tables with 4 stools. They are easy to move around and joint for larger tables. We seat 200 persons in a 3,300 sq ft premises. We feature original paintings by local artists on our walls. Our brightly light café exudes a calming and warm feeling.
